Bad news: I turned 35 years old today, signifying my official entry into the "mid-thirties".
Good news: Should I ever have the ambition to qualify for the Boston Marathon, I now would only have to do it under 3:45.
Piece of (birthday) cake.

The long candles are a great idea, as you'll need over three times that many candles on your cake. May take awhile to get them all lit. :P Sigh, I wish I was 35 again.
Wife of one husband, mother of two children, sister, daughter, friend, neighbor and wannabe runner extraordinnaire.
Picture this: Six feet of girl lumbering down the road... heart pumping, lungs heaving, long limbs flailing everywhere. I wasn't exactly built to run and it's not a pretty sight when I do. Yet, I can't seem to be convinced NOT to run and after logging thousands of miles (including a few little 26.2 mile jaunts around the block), I've decided it must be something worth writing about. Here's a recap of my many running adventures: the exciting, the dull and the just plain bizarre.
"It's unnatural for people to run around the city streets unless they are thieves or victims. It makes people nervous to see someone running. I know that when I see someone running on my street, my instincts tell me to let the dog go after him."
~Mike Royko

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You're still a youngster to me. I'm of the era where the phrase "Don't trust anyone over 30" was serious. 3:45 is doable for you!
Happy Birthday!!!! Lets shoot for that 3:45 together & meet for a beer after Boston in 2008!
Very happy birthday, looks like we share the same birthday, but obviously not the same age!
